This year’s theme, "Precision, Safety, Innovation, Adaptability: The Art and Science of Brachytherapy," reflects our commitment to advancing brachytherapy as a cornerstone of cancer treatment.
Precision is central to our mission. With advancements in imaging, treatment planning, and dosimetry, we can now deliver highly targeted treatments that improve patient outcomes while minimizing harm to healthy tissues. However, precision alone is not enough. We must also focus on safety, ensuring that our techniques evolve to meet diverse patient needs and address new challenges.
Our discussions will also highlight innovation and adaptability, exploring how brachytherapy can evolve globally to ensure access to cutting-edge therapies for all patients, regardless of location. We will delve into new technologies, patient safety, and the global disparities in access to brachytherapy. Networking with industry partners will help make these innovations accessible to all. The conference robust program will offer a rich educational experience, with the following objectives:
- Recognize the need for precision in brachytherapy treatment.
- Understand all aspects of safety, security and the use of AI
- Address imaging modalities and global access disparities in GYN brachytherapy
- Discuss several salvage modalities for prostate cancer.
